$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gretl-data 

gretl-data is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gretl-data package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gretl-data *

You will get with gretl-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table

gretl-data package basic information:
